Beauty Sample Box

I went to Walgreens today to buy a mascara that I've seen/heard a bunch of YT gurus raving about.

I've also read very positive reviews on MakeupAlley about this mascara. 

It's Jordana Best Lash Extreme Volumizing Mascara. 

I've used Jordana products before and was surprised to here that their mascara was receiving rave reviews.  

So I went to my local Walgreens and picked one up for 2.99$ (I also managed to pick up 47$ of other cosmetics as well, holy shit right?)

I haven't used it yet (I just bought it today and was already wearing mascara). 

So I be sure to share my opinion on it once I give it a fair go.

You know how Walgreens gives you a bunch of tickets/coupons along with your receipt these days?

Well while at the McDonalds drive-thru (1st World problems btw) I was bored waiting so I went through them (5$ off coupon yay!) but I also got something else interesting.  

I got a ticket/coupon thing that said I could go online and claim a "Beauty Sample Box"with a pin code printed on the coupon.

I frequently purchase makeup and other beauty related products at Walgreens so I think thats why I  was given a pin code to claim a Beauty Sample Box. 

What a nice jester since I spend so much money at that drugstore and I love getting free stuff!

I think you just need to have their (Walgreens) Balance Rewards cards and once you accumulate 30$ of beauty purchases you get a code to claim the Beauty Sample Box (I'm sure this has to be done within a certain amount of time and by a certain amount of time, my ticket that had the code said to hurry & claim before they run out).

If you plan on buying a drugstore cosmetic and have a rewards card with Walgreens I suggest you buy it there, maybe you can get a pin code too ;)

Whats really awesome is that Walgreens allows you to pick out the type of beauty box your interested in.  

I thought that was a great feature and was different from all the other beauty sample boxes I've gotten before.

*I'm assuming these are similar to Targets Beauty Box, which I've gotten before and really enjoy!*

BEGIN RANT!

Before I go please allow me to rant.

So after going on a little drugstore makeup spree, I managed to work up quite a post cosmetic purchasing hunger.

So right next to the Walgreens is this plaza is a Micky D's. 

So I swung on by the drive-thru and ordered a medium fries and a small Mocha Frappe.

Btw- this is also my post test snack as well.

So I go, I order, and I pay.

My fries were find but look at this pathetic excuse for a frappe!!!

What the fuck is this bro?!?!

One sip is all I took before I decided to photograph this shit show!!!

I didn't realize til I already pulled out of the drive-thru and honestly the staff at this particular location is more of the "go fuck yourself" when it comes to customer service and I can honestly say I rather not get punched in the face by some 16 year old drop out then complain about my McFrappe.  

So I did the next logical choice. 

I'm blogging about my shitty beverage and I plan to email corporate headquarters!

Siiiggghhhh!  

Sometimes I wish I was all big and intimidating but then I really think about it and I'm like...girls + muscles = gross.

 RANT OVER!

At least I have something to look forward too ;)
