Smashbox Be Discovered palette

My mother and little sister drove down to Miami to spend the day with me last Saturday.

My mom stated that she wanted to go to Sawgrass Mills Mall.

A little info on Sawgrass Mills if you've never had the chore, privilege of going there.

It's the sixth largest mall in America and the second largest mall in Florida.

It is 2,3833,906 square feet of shopping.

Sawgrass Mills has over 300 shops and an outdoor shopping areas as well.

It's a huge tourist trap, excuse me, spot.

And most importantly it's H3LL during the holidays.

But I LOVE my mommy and lil sis, so I drove them there (I drove my mom's car).

Luckily, my mom (who lives with my G-ma) had granny's handicap parking permit!!!

WOOT!

Perfect parking!  While all those suckers were driving around, fighting and hunting for spots!

So we walked the entire mall, I think we left the mall around 10:30PM (the mall closes at 11PM).

My feet were killing me!!! I wore strappy (sp?) sandals.

Anywho~

I always like to go to SAKS 5th Avenue when I'm at Sawgrass Mills mall because they have a section with high-end make-up at outlet prices, and sometimes you can get lucky.

I spotted a Smashbox section, and there was this palette on display.

First of all, it grabbed my attention with the pretty PINK packaging.

At first glance I thought the shades on the palette were pretty but that can always change after swatching.

I was initially disappointed because when I touched the first shade I thought it was a cream shadow,

BUT GUESS WHAT!?!?!

It wasn't!!! It's just so darn silky and buttery that it fooled my sense of touch!

I don't have much experience with Smashbox shadows, I usually stick to UD and Too Faced.

Well I was so pleasantly surprised.   I truly can't express just how soft these shadows are.

Well the palette included 8 shades (2 matte, 2 barely shimmers, & 4 shimmer, but not too sparkly).

It cost me 31$, I ended up buying 2 (1 for me and 1 for mommy).

Here's pickies:

Bliss, Rosewater, Opal, Mist, Adobe, Champagne, Pebble, & Lilac.

I did swatches (which I hate b/c I don't like to use my make-up unless its on my face lol)

Top row

As you can see the light beige color blends in with my skin & olny shows up with the flash.
(keep in mind the swatches are opposite in these photos, sorry!)

lol I used Nyx primer cuz I'm too cheap to use my UD primer potion or Too Faced shadow insurance.

But!!!

Looks after trying to wash (with soap)!

I had to scrub! Not bad for the cheapy stuff! :)

(Excuse the Bella hair ><)

So I know this palette is old, but I'm glad I found it.  It's really pretty and features my favorite colors (pretty pastels) that really suit my fair coloring.

It's available on Beauty.com for 44$ and Ebay also for 44$.

The crackheads at Amazon are selling it for 63$...damn crackheads.
