Merry Christmas

Well obviously Christmas has already past.

I couldn't blog then because I was too busy doing Christmas activities with my family and Danny's family.

I hope everyone has/is enjoying the holiday season!

I have :)

I'm just especially grateful that I got to spend it with my mother and little sister.

We use to live very far from each other and I would miss them so much (more so) during the holidays.

Danny and I went to an annual Christmas Eve party at my Aunt's home.

Was so great to have the whole family together.

Good food, good booze (lol!) and great company!

Got some cute gifts and $$$ (lol thx mom!)

I wore a red sparkly top from Old Navy and skinny white trousers from AEO!

I curled my hair for the celebration and wore sparkly make-up!!!

BTW- I love Lorac 3D liquid luster drops! (I'll blog about that in detail later).

Here are Christmas Pickies~

Added some holiday flare ;)

(I also whitened my teeth (lol) and greened my eyes...it pisses me off that my green eyes look brown in pics! ;/  )

Everyone at the party said how nice I looked!  Made me feel so good!

The next day (on Christmas day) I went to my Dad's house and took a picture of his small Christmas tree lol!

It's the thought that counts!
Anyhoo~ I think it's super cute XD

Wanna know what else is super cute?!?!

ME!

This is a 3 year old Jennifer Bridgette!
I made this home(school) made Christmas tree ornament in preschool!
LOL look how I rocked those 80's bangs!
I especially love my pink Oshkosh b'gosh overalls!

I sincerely hope that everyone had a lovely Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanza, or whatever you happen to celebrate.

Please have a spectacular and safe New Year's as well!

I plan to share my idea for my NYE outfit!

Take Care.

I literally called a squirrel a loser..

Sometimes technology can be a curse.

It can create evidence of moments when you do really stupid stuff.

Like calling a squirrel a loser.

(BTW this squirrel was growling at me and I seriously don't usually sound like that...)

PS- Thx Vero for pointing that out...

Outfit of the day (nautical inspired)

Danny and I don't cook dinner on the weekends, we always dine out.

So at dinner time we decided to eat at the Latin America Grill.

It's a ultra-causal restaurant that serves cuban food.

The food was yummy and we had really great conversation.  :))

I wanted to share my outfit that I wore that evening.

I really like it.

It's super comfortable but I think looks nice.

With the colors of the skinny pants and the 3/4" sleeve v-neck top, it was very easy to pull off a nautical look.

I completed it with a pair of Sperry top-sliders, and ship wheel necklace, and cheetah print stud earrings.

Top- Cotton Red 3/4" sleeve tee from Express (bought at Marshalls)
Botton- Navy skinny pants with white polka dots (bought at Old Navy)
Shoes- Silver sparkly Sperry Top-siders boat shoes (bought from Delias)
Necklace- Silver boat wheel (bought at F21)
Earrings- Cheetah print studs (bought at Claires)

Pickies~

Very causal.

Lol I guess I'm trying to be sexy.

Ship wheel necklace (I thought was a nice touch).

I thought red or blue earrings would be overkill so I jazzed the OF with cheetah!

Um...crotch shot (I'm so sorry...).

I got these skinnies on sale for like 14$!

Bella's always sneaking into my pickies! lol It's ok b/c she's so CUTE!

Look at these Speery Top-siders I found online at Delias.

Talk about matchy-matchy.

I didn't wear any make-up...well only lip color.

I wore MAC lip-pencil in REDD and put a layer of Maybelline So Pearly lipstick on top.

This outfit is so comfy, looks nice, and best of all it was inexpensive! (<3 that!)

The only thing that was new (for me) was the earrings and the pants.  I bought the top years ago and the shoes are about 1 1/2 years old I think. Oh the necklace is maybe a year old.

Smashbox Be Discovered palette

My mother and little sister drove down to Miami to spend the day with me last Saturday.

My mom stated that she wanted to go to Sawgrass Mills Mall.

A little info on Sawgrass Mills if you've never had the chore, privilege of going there.

It's the sixth largest mall in America and the second largest mall in Florida.

It is 2,3833,906 square feet of shopping.

Sawgrass Mills has over 300 shops and an outdoor shopping areas as well.

It's a huge tourist trap, excuse me, spot.

And most importantly it's H3LL during the holidays.

But I LOVE my mommy and lil sis, so I drove them there (I drove my mom's car).

Luckily, my mom (who lives with my G-ma) had granny's handicap parking permit!!!

WOOT!

Perfect parking!  While all those suckers were driving around, fighting and hunting for spots!

So we walked the entire mall, I think we left the mall around 10:30PM (the mall closes at 11PM).

My feet were killing me!!! I wore strappy (sp?) sandals.

Anywho~

I always like to go to SAKS 5th Avenue when I'm at Sawgrass Mills mall because they have a section with high-end make-up at outlet prices, and sometimes you can get lucky.

I spotted a Smashbox section, and there was this palette on display.

First of all, it grabbed my attention with the pretty PINK packaging.

At first glance I thought the shades on the palette were pretty but that can always change after swatching.

I was initially disappointed because when I touched the first shade I thought it was a cream shadow,

BUT GUESS WHAT!?!?!

It wasn't!!! It's just so darn silky and buttery that it fooled my sense of touch!

I don't have much experience with Smashbox shadows, I usually stick to UD and Too Faced.

Well I was so pleasantly surprised.   I truly can't express just how soft these shadows are.

Well the palette included 8 shades (2 matte, 2 barely shimmers, & 4 shimmer, but not too sparkly).

It cost me 31$, I ended up buying 2 (1 for me and 1 for mommy).

Here's pickies:

Bliss, Rosewater, Opal, Mist, Adobe, Champagne, Pebble, & Lilac.

I did swatches (which I hate b/c I don't like to use my make-up unless its on my face lol)

Top row

As you can see the light beige color blends in with my skin & olny shows up with the flash.
(keep in mind the swatches are opposite in these photos, sorry!)

lol I used Nyx primer cuz I'm too cheap to use my UD primer potion or Too Faced shadow insurance.

But!!!

Looks after trying to wash (with soap)!

I had to scrub! Not bad for the cheapy stuff! :)

(Excuse the Bella hair ><)

So I know this palette is old, but I'm glad I found it.  It's really pretty and features my favorite colors (pretty pastels) that really suit my fair coloring.

It's available on Beauty.com for 44$ and Ebay also for 44$.

The crackheads at Amazon are selling it for 63$...damn crackheads.

Don't mess with Success!

So class is officially over for 2012~~!

Woot!

I survived my first year of nursing school!

I was super sick for my final and I thought I wasn't going to make it.

I was on the verge of puking/shitting myself during the exam.

But I was determined to finish that fucking class!

I truthfully rushed through the exam, but finished.

I turned it in, and immediately drove home (I usually wait for my buddies to finish).

Us, study buddies usually go out for lunch/drinks after the last test of the semester.

As soon as I got home I changed and crashed.

I finally woke up a few hours later and checked my phone and had text messages from the girls saying that grades were posted.

So I checked my grade for the final and was surprised to see I got a 94!

I think I got this grade for two very important reasons

#1 I study so freaking much with my girls (Vero & Michie)

#2 Because of my aliments I didn't give myself the time to "doubt" myself.

So far Nursing school has been a real challenge and I'm so grateful for the awesome girls I've met to go through this journey with! <3

Okay enough with the mushy junk.

Here's some pickies!

Studying at Panera Bread, so serious!

Jay-Kay! Never serious!

(BTW my hair looks fabulously blonde in these photos!)

Thats right, fabulous!

Night before the exam.

After finding out my grade! (Bella is like "Bish you is cray cray!")

Tonight!

Bella-My booboo beagle bunny bear!

That's my nick name for my 2 year old beagle Bella.  It's long, obnoxious and sicking cute, just like her.

I got Bella when she was 2 months old.

Needless to say, I was instantly in love.

Now I'm just plain old obsessed.

We are like to peas-in-a-pod.

She's my sidekick.

And I just know that Bella feels the same way about me.

She's laying on my lap as I type this.  (She's always on my lap when I'm on my laptop.)

Now I can't even imagine my world without my puppy.

I got so lucky that we clicked & connected so well.

When Danny & I got her at 2 months.

Got carried away with feeding her.

Her first nap in her home.

Oh my goodness...I can't even...

She was so feisty.

Napping with mommy.

OMG so freaking cute.

I always felt so guilty leaving her.

I took away her lady parts.

Being cool like dad.

Sunbathing.

Caught eating my yogurt.

Bat Dog

Telling Santa what she wants for Christmas.

Posing for the camera.

Shy in this photo.

Those eyes...

My champion.

Speaking of champion, Bella's parents are champion show dogs.

Although I would never put Bella in a show.

First of all I'm biased, Bella is the best dog EVER!

Second, I'd punch anyone who said otherwise.

Just wanted to share my pretty princess!
